Vista Ridge Trail to Elk Cove

This week in Urbania:
"Everything in moderation" is a wise idea that does NOT sink in for us. We spent all week ignoring our friends, exercise plans, and need of adequate sleep to watch BBC's Sherlock. We finished all the seasons and aren't looking for another show to get us sucked in, so we're available for coffee again. Text us?

Tyson continues his love for World War II memoirs, discovered his love for Nina Simone. I, on the other hand, came up with this brilliant sap of an idea to start blogging again. Maybe I'm a narcissist, or maybe I'm just happy... all I know is that having these experiences of mine documented brings joy to my heart, and after re-doing a website for a baby boutique last week at work, making everything as "cute" as possible is what I seem to thrive at.

A couple of beautiful things we encountered in the forest:
View of Mount Hood on Vista Ridge Trail, 8.8 miles - enchanted by the wildflowers growing on the trail

Day after hike with a view of Mt. Jefferson, we hiked a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail and had lunch at Stout Lake

A typical morning:
